Wohlen, September 2023. As a presenter, Marco Fritsche has been in his element for 25 years in front of the camera in the TV studio as much as in the cow barn. Since he also presents conferences and events all over Switzerland, he is delighted to be on the road in the all-electric JAC e-JS4 as JAC's new brand ambassador, sustainable and CO2-free - in old Fritsche with a modern carriage, so to speak.
Marco Fritsche is known as the top matchmaker for farmers and farmers' wives. Since 2008, the 47-year-old from Appenzell has been hosting the popular show "Bauer, ledig, sucht ..." on 3+ and has already ensured many a happy love affair. Now Fritsche is also making the Swiss outdoors happy: as the new brand ambassador for the JAC car brand, he drives the all-electric and fully equipped JAC e-JS4 he now drives emission-free on the road to travel from his home to the remotest corners of Switzerland. "This motivates me for at least the next 25 years," says the presenter with a broad and satisfied smile.
"The electricity mix in my over 300-year-old wooden house in Appenzell is from hydropower and solar power. That's why my ecological conscience won't bother me so much in the future when I travel from eastern Switzerland to a farmer in the Bernese Oberland!" says the native country bumpkin, as he calls himself. Because his JAC not only suits him thanks to its ecological drive, but also visually represents the mixture between tradition and the future, Fritsche is doubly proud of his new vehicle.
Fritsche owes this pride to Garage Auto Kunz AG in Wohlen AG, JAC's Swiss general importer. Adrian Büchler, CEO of Auto Kunz, who is involved with the company in the region in various ways and attaches great importance to sustainability, says: "The young JAC brand wants to establish itself in Switzerland. To increase awareness, especially in the countryside, Fritsche is the perfect brand ambassador; he will soon have visited every farm in Switzerland." He continues, "Fritsche bridges the gap between city and country and has high mobility and transportation needs; for such people, the JAC e-JS4 is ideal."
Marco Fritsche started his TV career in 1999 at the TV station Swizz (later Viva Switzerland), where he worked as a VJ (video journalist) alongside his journalism studies. Since then he has hosted countless formats at SRF, Pro7 Switzerland, Tele Ostschweiz & for the last 15 years especially at 3+ ("Big Pictures", "Die 40...", "Swiss Music Awards"). As a presenter, the Appenzeller is thus not only a welcome guest in the Swiss parlors with the new episodes of "Bauer, ledig, sucht...", but can also be found on the streets between Appenzell and Geneva again and again - with his new buddy JAC.
