Wohlen, June 2024 - Five years ago, Garage Auto Kunz AG in Wohlen was the first company to introduce Chinese electric cars to Switzerland. Today it is time to look back and celebrate this important anniversary.
What was ridiculed and questioned at the time has developed into a successful concept with a wide range of vehicles. It all began five years ago with the e-S2 electric vehicle model, which was characterized by its impressive price-performance ratio. There are now three different passenger cars, a pick-up and soon an electric van on Swiss roads. Further models are expected at the end of the year.
JAC Switzerland has maintained a close partnership with the Swiss National Circus Knie for a number of years. It was therefore an obvious choice to celebrate the fifth anniversary together with Circus Knie. Both companies stand for innovation and at the same time can look back on a long tradition: JAC Motors has been around for 60 years, and Volkswagen AG holds a 75% stake in the joint venture "Volkswagen (Anhui) Automotive Company Limited" with JAC via Volkswagen (China) Investment Co. LTD.
Before the premiere in Basel, the guests were guided through a program with presenter Marco Fritsche. There was an aperitif riche in the ring, which was prepared by Olympic cooking champion Dominik Altorfer. Dealers, first JAC buyers and JAC partners were invited.
After the emotional, innovative and breathtaking circus show, the guests enjoyed a meet & greet with the Knie family. JAC Switzerland is looking forward to continuing its partnership with Circus Knie and continuing to surprise Switzerland with innovative vehicles.
