Seven seats, two sliding doors, and an electric range of up to 116 kilometers: With the RF8, Chinese manufacturer JAC is bringing a full-fledged plug-in hybrid van to Switzerland. At 36,989 francs, the seven-seater is also unusually affordable.
The RF8 measures 5.21 meters in length, 1.89 meters in width, and 1.83 meters in height. The wheelbase is 3.10 meters. Three rows of seats accommodate seven people, and the two sliding doors make it easy to access the rear. Depending on the seating configuration, the trunk offers a capacity of 700 to 2,500 liters. The curb weight is 2,419 kilograms.
For the powertrain, JAC combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor. The electric motor delivers 160 kW (218 PS), and the combined system output is 310 kW (421 PS). The top speed is limited to 180 km/h. A 27.5-kWh battery serves as the energy storage unit. The electric range is rated at up to 116 kilometers. For longer distances, the combined range is said to be up to 1,150 kilometers.
Our JAC partners also have vehicles in stock. Don't hesitate—find a JAC partner near you. Your perfect electric car might already be ready for a test drive or immediate delivery.
