Thanks to three JAC eJS1: Telpizza in Baden saves over 1000 francs every month
A successful delivery service needs delicious pizzas, but it also needs to be fast and reliable - just like Telpizza in Baden. When Managing Director Musab noticed that his old petrol engines were constantly breaking down and repair costs were exploding, it was clear that something had to change. Today, his delivery service uses three fully electric JAC eJS1s - and saves money month after month.
"I used to spend almost CHF 2,000 a month on petrol - now I spend less than half that on electricity." The switch to electric vehicles has quickly paid for itself: In addition to the savings in fuel costs, service and maintenance are also significantly cheaper. The compact JACs are easy to maneuver through the city, fit into any parking space and still offer enough space: "The trunk is big enough for our delivery boxes - and the range is easily enough for a delivery day."
Skepticism? That was yesterday. Today, everyone drives with a smile.
"Our drivers were skeptical at first," says Musab. "But after the first deliveries, the JACs were already more popular than the old petrol engines. The eJS1 is maneuverable, clearly laid out, has a reversing camera and a top sound system - that's pure luxury for our drivers." Musab also has the charging infrastructure under control: he has installed the wallboxes directly on site. In winter you notice a slight loss of range and every now and then a display fails, but Musab has no other complaints. The price-performance ratio with the price of CHF 16,989 has exceeded his expectations.

Musab's goal is clear: "We want to be completely electric by 2026. The initial investment pays off quickly. If I had known how much money I could save and how much effort I could reduce, I would have taken the step earlier. Margins are often tight in the delivery business, but that's exactly why a vehicle like the JAC eJS1 is worthwhile. Top value for money, low fixed costs - and you are future-proof on the road. I can only recommend it to other delivery services."
